There is no specific legislation.
New top open anonymous iron drums, with two bungholes, of 290 kg net each, lacquered inside with a lacquer convenient for food purposes, in perfect state, outside and inside clean (not rusty, dented or sticky). All drums should be suitable to come in contact with foodstuffs according to the Regulation (EC) n° 1935/2004, No 1895/2005, No 2023/2006, N° 10/2011 and Bisphenol A (BPA) within derivatives free. Decree No 98-638 and Directive 94/62/EC.
9. PRESERVATION, USE AND SHELF UFE
The honey should be suitable for consumption at least two years from production date. The honey complies with the European Honey Directive (2001/110/CE).
